Welcome to the Fam! February 2021 Part 2

Welcome to the HHC fam!

We have three new creators joining the Hella Handmade Creations line up in February for the very first time!  We wish to extend to them a warm HHC welcome.  In alphabetical order…

Cynthia, the force behind Alter Ego Products tells us:I went public in April 2012 as Alter Ego Nail Enamels.  I started adding body care products such as soap, bath additives, and fragranced oils.  I created different divisions to place these products in my online shop.  When I legally registered for LLC, I expanded the name to be Alter Ego Body Care Products to broadly define everything I make.”

Cynthia has chosen Bearded Irises as her first inspiration for HHC.  I am REALLY excited to see what she creates with this theme in the future months!

This month, the inspiration is Sorbonne Bearded Iris. Behold!

Next,  MLF Lacquer is also new to the HHC family brand.

MLF is a woman owned small business that specializes in making unique and beautiful shades of nail polish.  Their polishes are 5-free, cruelty-free, and vegan.  MLF stands for “Much Love Forever,'' but they are also the initials of the owner’s daughter, Makayla, who passed away from cancer in 2017.  Her business is a tribute to Mikayla.  She strives to bring small joys to her customers in the form of beautiful polish and outstanding customer service.

Jessica, the owner of MLF Lacquer, has chosen butterflies as her inspiration theme in HHC.  Her first butterfly inspiration is the pipevine swallowtail.  "Pipeline Swallowtail" is a dark turquoise jelly with a green/turquoise/blue shimmer and linear holo.  HELLO?!?!  Did I hear HOLO?  Oh yes!

Wouldn't it be great if we could just bathe in holo?

Next up we have....

Ribbits Stickits!!

We have worked with Kristy on a fundraising event in the past.  We were quite impressed with her generosity for our project and with the quality of her creations that she donated.  It felt like quite a natural fit to invite her to become a contributor to HHC’s lineup.

Kristy shared this with us about Ribbits Stickits:  "I first opened shop in June of 2016!  I started out with only water slide decals and nail vinyls.  Since then, I have expanded my line to include liquid latex, acetone additives, larger vinyl stickers, hand and cuticle creams, room and body sprays, and lotion mists.  My favorite thing to do is to create custom house blended scents!  I love creating new products, connecting with my customers, and collaborating with other brands.  I am super excited to be working with the lovely people behind HHC and look forward to creating exclusive new products for you all!”  ~Kristy

Kristy's theme is Woodland Creatures & here is her first contribution!

I am interested in seeing all the creative nail designs that happen with this art form. I think it is going to be quite fun!

Welcome Back!

Returning to HHC for the first time since we changed our format is Colores de Carol.  For anyone who has been in the HHC fam for a bit may remember that Colores de Carol was in HHC a few years back.  We are thrilled and excited that she will join us again with the theme of Spiderman!

Returning to HHC with a brand new look is Hearts & Promises, formerly Turtle Tootsies.  Chrissy has decided to tackle Broadway Musicals for her theme inspiration.  Her first HHC polish as Hearts & Promises is, “He Had It Coming.”  This beauty is a linear holo, black to red multichrome with pink sparks.  Behold this looker!

Also returning to HHC with a brand update is Paradox Polish, formerly Necessary Evil.  Tamara of Paradox Polish has chosen weather phenomena and seasons as her new inspiration theme.  The first polish in her new theme is called, "It’s a Winterful Life." "It's a Winterful Life" is a blue with holo blue and white glitters, scattered holo, and holo flakes.  It's a perfect polish for the name and theme.

Stay tune for January's part three coming soon!  Fun times. Fun times!
