It's finally happened! With the New Year we are pushing forward with some of our ideas we had during 2020.
We hope that you will enjoy reading a blog about handmade items that are featured in Hella Handmade Creations (or HHC, for short) and about our business in general. As you may know, HHC has the same custom pre-order dates monthly so it makes it easy to remember when to shop! On that note, we are trying out a new wishlist app in our store that should, if it works correctly, make it easier for customers to add all their wishlist items to our store at once when the custom pre-order starts. Unfortunately it causes confusion because we have to mark everything as "sold out" prior to the sale when that portion of the store is open for preview. Just note, that prior to the 13th, when customs are within the pre-view period, they will say sold out but that is only to prevent early sales.
For January 2021, we have forty products from an array of talented creators. We have some brands that have been around for a good amount of time and have a large following as well as some brands that are younger and they are making their mark in the indie world.
We have two first time creators being added to our HHC lineup for January 2021! We are proud and pleased to welcome Color Spectrum Polish and Sassy Cats Lacquer.
Color Spectrum is drawing inspiration for her HHC polishes from the movie Legally Blonde. To start off with a bang, she has created an attention getting polish called "Because I'm Too...Blonde." This beauty is a stunning sheer neon pink with gold unicorn shimmers and iridescent flakies that shift from pink to purple to green to gold.
Also joining HHC for the first time is Sassy Cats Lacquer. The creator of Sassy Cats has chosen her 2020 Playlist for her inspiration in HHC. Her first polish of that series will be "Did a Full 180," and is inspired by the Dua Lipa song, "Don't Start Now." "Did a Full 180" is a pastel multichrome shifting from purple, to pink, to peach, to gold in a purple base. This polish is alluring, demure, and desirable. It is ALL the good adjectives you can conjure up. I feel like I can swim in it.
In the Dinglehoppers collection, this month, we have a charitable decal. We have added a holo sticker called "Love Always Wins" that sells for $5 and 100% of the proceeds will go to the Trevor Project. 100%!! It's always been a part of the Hella Handmade Creations culture to be dedicated to stewardship within the nail polish community our country and even worldwide. It felt like it had been a minute since we had done anything so starting off 2021 with a charitable heart (pardon the pun) seems like the right fit.
If you would like to learn more about the Trevor Project, you can find information at their website:
As always, the custom items are sold on a pre-order basis and if you have customs items in your order, the entire order will not ship until the items in your order have been delivered to us.
Wishing you peace and happiness through the New Year!
